Telegram, a popular messaging app with plans to develop Telegram Open Network (TON) blockchain and create its own cryptocurrency, has raised additional $850 million through the second private sale. Thus, Telegram has already collected a total of $1.7 billion from its two private sales.
The first private sale took place in February 2018.

BitPay has added functionality for its merchants to accept payments in Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Earlier, the company processed payments only in Bitcoins (BTC).

MailChimp, the world’s most popular platform for email marketing, has prohibited promotion of cryptocurrencies and Initial Coin Offerings. The move comes weeks after Twitter, Facebook and Google banned cryptocurrency-related marketing campaigns in March.
